Recent Advances of Magnetic Gold Hybrids and Nanocomposites, and Their Potential Biological Applications

Magnetic gold nanoparticles (mGNP) have become a great interest of research for nanomaterial scientists because their significant magnetic and plasmonic properties applicable in biomedical applications. Various synthetic approaches surface modification techniques been used mGNP including the most common being coprecipitation, thermal decomposition, microemulsion methods addition to Brust Schiffrin technique, which involves reduction metal precursors two-phase system (water toluene) presence alkanethiol. The hybrid magnetic–plasmonic based on iron core shell are considered as potential theranostic agents. In this critical review, future works, we summarized recent developments synthesis with applications modern science such drug gene delivery, bioimaging, biosensing, neuro-regeneration, neuro-degenerative arthritic disorders. This review includes biological majorly from previous six years.
